Running Fitness
Running is the action of pushing yourself forward
rapidly on foot and this action increases as your run time elapses, in which there’s
a moment when both feet are off the ground which makes running a high-impact
activity as you put your highest level of effort to achieve your final
milestone.
As an athlete if you are training yourself for competitive event or simply want to run for longer distance, knowing how to improve your running fitness is must.
Achieving running fitness is not
a single or two day activity. It’s a long term activity as everybody’s body is
different. Running Fitness can be gained by doing detail planning depending
upon you goal, being consistent, warm- up and cool down, strength workouts,
variation in running distance, speed training, performance assessment, proper
hydration and diet, and adding rest days.
