Being only healthy enough for running


Many beginners think running is just putting one leg in front of other. It may feel simple but in actual it’s not that easy. It is game of strength and technique consisting of both physical and mental aspects that promotes health and fitness.

Does only being healthy 💪enough?

To live a happy life one should be healthy as “Health is Wealth”. But does only being healthy enough? No, to live happily one should be healthy and fit. Many of us think that being healthy & fit is same but in actual it’s not. WHO defines health as complete state of physical, mental and social well being and not just the absence of illness in person’s body.  

Whereas fitness means to carry our activities with ample of energy without any tiredness. When person is fit enough he automatically gets many health benefits such as stronger immunity, improved cardio vascular health, remains stress free and much more.

How being healthy and fit helps in running?

When a runner is healthy and physically fit his action and decisions are more practical, logical, focused, and full of confidence helping him to be more productive and performing better as compared to his earlier one reducing the risk of injury.
