Anything that you do in excess ends with pain. Running is powerful tool which keeps us fit and healthy but always remember to avoid overdoing it. Excessive doing it may lead to mental stress, fatigue or depression.  Amount of injury may vary from person to person but it may make difficult to continue running over the long term and will keep you away from enjoying running.

A good athlete always assesses his fitness level from time to time and then sets his/her goal, and when he does so he can decide how much distance he can run and with what speed and power.
