When my Daughter ran her first run on track as athlete.
My daughter says Running is my passion, and to be frank enough she put
her best efforts whenever she is on track, practicing sprinting or doing
workouts, enjoying the routine with her besties. Daily practicing and getting
ready for upcoming event, and winning a medal is a dream of every athlete that to
with much less timing than earlier.
I still remember the first ever participation of my daughter in a
competitive running event. She was all set, happy, excited, mentally and
physically prepared for the challenge. On the race day, seeing a huge crowd of
participants from different regions she was bit distracted, nervous. It was my
time now, to play my role as Mother and an athlete and give her magic words
“Run with Confidence and Technique”. Just Get- Set -Go….
The magic words worked, she ran with smart approach and crossed the
finishing line. I noticed her fully sweating, with fast pounding heart and much
more a face full with cute smile and joy, a joy of confidence, joy of winning.
Her words after the run were “It was super easy, I was feeling like
flying”.
