During running runners put huge stress on lower body to push themselves ahead in a specific posture. This is a activity which requires lots of strength utilization and many runners during the workouts or race faces cramps which makes them difficult to complete the race.

Muscle cramps may be due to several reasons which may last to few minutes’ leading to pain. This muscle contraction can be because of various factors like dehydration, over stretching or over use, weakness, electrolyte imbalance, or vitamin deficiency.

How to avoid muscle cramps during running

4. Reduce intensity of training before race days.

5. Boost your muscle strength.

6. Use proper shoes.
